Ballet Creole presents its 28th Spring dance production, Cry Freedom - Based on the story of Chloe Cooley in celebration of the 225th anniversary of her pivotal role in Canada’s Black history. Featuring the musical talents of Creole Drummatix, singer Denise Cavalier and Guest Master Drummer Amadou Kienou. Arrive early to browse the pop-up market showcasing local artisans and a historical exhibit courtesy of Ontario Black History Society and the Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton.

Kristjan Randalu is known as one of the most compelling pianists of this generation. Sought after as soloist, collaborator and composer, his music is described by Jazz Times as an "un-nameable exotic land". Audiences are captivated by his warmth, his passion for music, and his quiet confidence and honest personality. His numerous recordings as both soloist and collaborator include a Grammy nomination in 2006.

Estonian Music Week: May 24-29 celebrating Estonia's 100th anniversary of independence. 60 Estonian singers and instrumentalists will make the trip overseas to collaborate with Canadian artists to mark this historic occasion.
