Now Playing:

A Great Night In Harlem

This week Quincy Jones joined forces with a group of blues. jazz, R&B and rock greats to help raise funds and awareness for musicians who have fallen on hard times.

The fundraiser for the Jazz Foundation of America, titled "A Great Night In Harlem," include tributes to musicians who had passed in the last year with Macy Gray honouring Etta James with a rendition of "At Last," while Glen Hansard, from The Swell Season, paid tribute to late Band drummer Levon Helm.

In addition to the tributes, other performances included Bono singing "Angel of Harlem" and Dr. John playing the old spiritual "Motherless Child."

The foundation also showed the work they have done in places such as New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina as The Treme Brass Band and Rebirth Brass Band marched down the aisle playing "When The Saints Go Marching In."
