    David Braid picks up 2 awards at Canadian Screen Awards

    Canadian jazz pianist and composer David Braid picked up two awards at the Canadian Screen Awards.

    Braid received: Canadian Screen Awards Best Achievement in Music - Original Song “Could Have Been”; and Canadian Screen Awards Best Achievement in Music - Original Score “Born to be Blue”

    The Canadian Screen Awards were handed out over the last week in Toronto, culminating with a ceremony held at the Sony Centre on Sunday night.

    Senior Arts Editor Mark Wigmore caught up with the musician last summer.
