    TD Discovery Series Special Projects is back!

    Toronto Jazz has announced four more exciting projects are coming from local area musicians.

    This year's winners include Toronto Arts Foundation's 2014 Emerging Jazz Artist Award recipient Chelsea McBride who, with her Socialist Night School, launches her debut full-length album; Jazz/hip-hop trio Jazz Money will present a night of new music; So Long Seven will premiere new works that explore the West African influence on jazz and blues along with master drummer Amara Kante; and finally, Spectrum Music, whose Tales of the Unconscious explores dreams in a presentation of new works for classical choir and jazz trio.

    This is the TD Discovery Series Special Projects seventh year, and is meant to highlight the outstanding work of jazz musicians in the city.

    March 8 – Jazz Money at The Rex
    April 8 – So Long Seven at the Small World Music Centre
